British Columbia Invests in 3 Million More Hours of Senior Care; $500 Million Investment Unveiled

Seniors in long-term care homes across British Columbia are set to receive material benefits to their standard of living and care thanks to a new $500 Million government care plan.

Health Minister Terry Lake unveiled the four-year plan that begins with an initial investment of $45 Million in 2017-'18 increasing to $185 Million by 2020-'21.

Office of the Seniors Advocate BC (Seniors Advocate BC), led by Isobel Mackenzie, appear pleased with the deal.
